ADFI WEBINAR: A data-driven approach to bridging the gender gap in financial inclusion among women smallholders in Africa.

The session with experts from the African Development Bank, the Africa Digital Financial Inclusion Facility (ADFI), Pula Advisors and The Shell Foundation rated great interest, with over 230 registrants to learn more about how digital microinsurance and agricultural data services can support women smallholder farmers to increase and protect their farm yields.

There was considerable thoughtful interaction after the presentations, which together gave great insight into addressing the challenges facing African women farmers regarding access to financial and other services. A key focus was the innovative human-centered design approach that is being used to research overcoming these challenges.
